Roots
From a tiny island to East London
Camille is a Kiwi, born and raised on a small island in New Zealand, where she once had a pet penguin — yes, really. She's called London home for eight years now, and is free to work under Indefinite Leave to Remain.
Her career background
Her design career took off at Xero Accounting Software, when it was still a small New Zealand startup. Landing the job after being noticed winning a logo design competition, she helped take Xero to its first million customers by designing the marketing website — before being deployed to San Francisco to help embed its design culture in the US.
Loving travel, Camille moved to the UK and worked for world-class agencies such as R/GA and Elephant, as well as Techspace and ANNA Money.

She's a tax-girl-boss
Camille has spent many years designing tax tools, which has made her an accidental expert in accounting. She's able to explain how a landlord can only claim mortgage interest... not repayments... on a property that isn't commercial... Ask her about it. Will be fun.

She’s building with AI
Lately, she's been increasingly interested in how AI can speed up processes and be an inspiration — having Claude design elegantly within a design system, saving and using Figma skills, and shipping design directly in VS Code with Claude.

She’s also a DJ
Off the clock, Camille DJs on the side – she’s a lover of sober-focused healthy raving and has played in some pretty big London clubs too.

She’s arty and techy
Her academic path was a creative one, blended with technology. She’s got a Bachelor's in Computer Graphic Design, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Web Development — the coding skills from which she still uses to this day.
